Frequently Asked Questions
How long is a standard event?
Man in the Mirror events are approximately six hours long and usually take place on a Friday night and Saturday morning or all day on Saturday. They may also be adapted for a weekend retreat.
Who presents the event?
Most events are available in two formats--either as a "Faculty-Led," using a qualified Man in the Mirror speaker, or as a "You-Teach-It," where we equip you to present by providing speaker outlines, Power Point presentation templates, and videos to help you prepare.
How much does it cost?
The cost of the event varies, depending on whether you use one of our speakers or your own. Regardless of the format, it is designed to break even financially and we provide a worksheet to help you determine your ticket price.
What is included?
The church receives a detailed planning manual with timelines; No Man Left Behind books for the leaders; promotional posters, flyers, and cards; outlines for note-taking during the event; and curriculum for follow-up groups.
Will it help us get men into small groups?
On average, churches that do a Man in the Mirror event see more than two thirds of attendees join follow-up groups BEFORE they leave the event, resulting in ongoing discipleship. We'll show you how, using a simple strategy!
Will men have an opportunity to surrender their lives to Christ?
Our events include prayer and in invitation to surrender or re-surrender to Jesus Christ. On average, a third of attendees make this transformative decision.
What events do I have to choose from?
