1. Have you ever prayed in the middle of suffering: "God, I'll do whatever it is you want, if you will just tell me. What do you want from me?" If so, what did He do?

2. Answer ONE of the following...

  • Read Romans 8:18-21. How do you compare your present sufferings to "the glory that will be revealed" in you? Do you see sufferings and futility "liberating" you and, if yes, give an example?
  • Read Romans 8:14-17. What is the difference between fear and dependence? Do they "feel" different, or similar? How do we tell them apart?
