1. What percentage of the young people in your church would you estimate drop out by the end of their high school careers? How big of a problem is this for you personally?

2. A distinction was made today between the visible church (those who profess Christ) and the invisible church (the true church, those who possess Christ). This distinction helps answer the questions, "Can a Christian lose their salvation?" and "How can someone attend church, profess faith, then fall away as though it never happened?" Was this helpful for you and, if so, how?

3. The Christian father has the principal responsibility to lead his children to faith in Christ. The simplest explanation of the gospel of Christ is found in Romans 6:23. What are the three aspects of the gospel that our children need to understand and embrace?

  1. A______ F________. The problem of M______. The doctrine of M_______.
  2. J______ N________. The issue of J_________. The doctrine of C_______.
  3. G______ P________. The gift of E______ L___. The doctrine of S_______.

4. The critical issue for every Christian father is this: It is not enough for your children to be found in church, they must be found in Christ. If they are truly found in Christ, they will be found in church, except for temporary lapses. Where does each of your children stand with Christ? What is your plan?
