1. What are some funny stories you remember or have heard about your ancestors? Have someone share one with the group. What about a more serious legacy - good or bad? Have someone share one of these with the group as well.

At this point in your life, what 4 or 5 words would you use to describe the legacy you are leaving? How could the promises of these verses apply to you?

2. Do you long for a place of honor, the power of joy, or the peace of acceptance? Which one of these is most applicable to your situation right now and why?

3. Have their been times when you doubted whether or not God was with you? Have you doubted that He wanted to use you? …that He would take care of you? How does today's Big Idea apply to you? ("The life and death of Christ are the only reasonable basis for hope.")

4. Think of one man with whom you could share this message. Will you commit to share it with him before Monday?
