Man in the

1. Think of someone who wouldn't ask for your help when you could easily have met their need-perhaps a child, spouse, co-worker, employee, or boss. How did you feel? What should they have done? What does this suggest about our relationship with God? 2. Read Josh. 9:14. It is easy to look at the data and come to the wrong conclusion. Why is that? How does that build a case for prayer? 3. C.S. Lewis noted that God allows us to receive what ever we labor for, but since prayer is so much more powerful than labor, he must put limits on it or we would destroy ourselves. Which do you really believe is more powerful-labor or prayer? Why? How does this build a case for prayer? 4. How would you rate your prayer life, and what would you like to do differently today and tomorrow? |
