Discussion Questions

1. Do you know someone that has spent "38 years" alone by the healing pool? Why do you think this person was so isolated?

2. Describe a time when you were thrown into a group of people where there was an unrealistic expectation of relationship. (Work, social or church)

3. Think about all the people you have relationships with - say, that you talk with typically week to week. How many of them are Acquaintances? How many are Friends? Are any of them Brothers?

4. Do you think it is important to have a Brother? A Band of Brothers? Why or why not?

5. If you are not in a band of brothers right now, would you commit to finding a group of brothers to begin the relational diamond with? Would you feel comfortable telling the guys at your table about it in the coming weeks?

FOR FURTHER STUDY: Go through the book of Acts. Write down all of the examples of believers together in "brother" type relationships.
