1. Do you think a Christian caught up in a besetting sin can win that battle without getting some proper help from his Christian brothers? Explain your answer.

2. Who is Paul talking about and what does he mean when he says, "But now I am writing you that you must not associate with anyone who calls himself a brother but is sexually immoral or greedy, an idolater or a slanderer, a drunkard or a swindler. With such a man do not even eat" (1 Corinthians 5:11)?

3. In 1 Corinthians 5, Paul presents very clear answers to the questions: Who are we to confront? How are we to confront them? And for what desired result do we confront a brother? From the text, describe the "process" of confronting and restoring a brother in sin.
