God's Timing

Acts 7:2-36

Questions

1. What is "it" for you-the thing that has been a long time coming?

2. Which one of the three men featured this morning speaks most to you about God's timing, and why?

  • Abraham, a man of faith, Acts 7:2-8
  • Joseph, a man of integrity, Acts 7:9-16
  • Moses, a man of humility, Acts 7:17-36

3. In your heart of hearts, are you a really a believer that "God is in charge, He knows what He is doing, He doesn't make mistakes, He loves you very much, You can trust Him, He is sovereignly orchestrating all of the seemingly random circumstances of your life, He is turning evil into good, and He can use you but only if you realize you are inadequate apart from His power and grace?"

4. If a man can honestly say, "Yes," to the previous question, how will his concerns about "timing" be different on a day-to-day basis? ...his prayers? ...his emotions? ...his desires? ...his sense of calling? ...his relationships? ...his view of hardships?
