  • Have you been surprised at how quickly the nation and world have come together, and why?
  • How have these terrorist attacks affected you, your family, and workplace?

2. "The absolutely worst thing that could happen would be for life to quickly return to normal." AGREE/DISAGREE. Explain your answer.

3. We have all wondered, "How can there be so much evil in the world?" According to 1 Peter 5:8-9 and Ephesians 6:11-12, who is our real foe? How do we explain evil to our neighbors and co-workers?

4. Edmund Burke once said, "The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing." The Bible says, "When a crime is not punished, people feel it is safe to do wrong" (Ecclesiastes 8:11). What do you think America should do?

5. Are you prepared for such a time as this? Where are your opportunities to seize the moment, and what do you hope to do?
