Focus
On the contrary, we speak as men approved by God to be entrusted with the gospel. We are not trying to please men but God, who tests our hearts. (1 Th 2:4 (NIV)
Impact
A man was in a DMV office. He noticed money on the floor. He picked it up, put it in his pocket and turned to the man behind him asking if he had dropped some money. The man checked and replied he had not. The finder then asked the clerk at the counter what he should do. She replied that the money would go into a “lost and found” container and if not claimed in 30 days, the money was his. He then pulled a “Ben Franklin” out of his pocket and handed it to her, getting the attention of most in the office. No one claimed the money so it was his to keep. Upon returning to his office after getting the money, one of his employees told him that on the day he had found the money, a non-believer friend had called and stated that he had been in the DMV when the man had turned in the money. He told his friend that he could trust his boss; that he was a man of integrity. You never can tell who might be watching!”

Life
Transferring Trust: It Is Your Choice. In January 1980, three men had been skiing at Breckenridge, Colorado. They took off from the Breckenridge airport in the late afternoon in a light plane. They headed over the Front Range of the Rockies intending to land at Arapahoe County Airport, south of Denver. When they arrived over the field, they found it under heavy cloud cover. Read more. Ransomed Heart Ministries. Ransomed Heart is a small ministry devoted to a big message. That message is the treasure of the Christian Gospel–not the tired story of church attendance and good manners, but rather the love story of all ages, set in the midst of fierce battle. As Jesus said, “The thief comes only to steal, and kill, and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full” (John 10:10). After all, it is life we are after, each one of us. And it is life God offers. (Ministry of the Month)

Reboot (with Joshua) Spying out Jericho (Joshua 2:2-7)
No Secret. “Look! Some of the Israelites have come here tonight to spy out the land.” The people of Jericho know that the men were spies. The men apparently stood out from the people. The word traveled quickly, even as to where they were.
As a disciple of the Lord, do you stand out from the crowd?
Rehab’s Lie. 5At dusk, when it was time to close the city gate, the men left. Because scripture stands so clearly against lying, we miss the fact that, in her lie, Rachel’s was repudiating her religion and, perhaps, her culture. She placed herself in grave danger by lying. Had the spies been discovered, Rachel would have been considered a traitor. Her lie illustrates her commitment to the Lord. She aligns herself with the God of Israel. She had made a commitment to the Lord before the arrival of the spies( v8-12). (See Gleason Archer, Encyclopedia of Bible Difficulties, pages 155-6.)
As a disciple of the Lord, what would you do if you were in Rachel’s position?
Man is the only animal that blushes … or needs to!
