Things are heating up across Florida as the summer months quickly approach. Promise Keepers will be having a conference in Orlando at the Amway Arena during July 28-29. The men of FMI are busy promoting the conference, and many will be volunteering at the conference. FMI will have an exhibit at the conference, representing the National Coalition of Men's Ministries, of which PK is also a member. We hope that you will stop by to see us at the conference.

The men of FMI in Southeast and North Central Florida are preparing for the Iron Sharpens Iron National Men's Conferences in West Palm Beach

and Gainesville this fall. The West Palm Beach ISI Conference will be held at Tequesta's First Baptist Church on Saturday, September 22. The Gainesville ISI Conference will be held at Grace United Methodist Church on Saturday, October 13.

Father's Day is June 16. Dads across America will be recognized for their important role in the lives of their children. It is called, “Father Power.” It is statistically and scripturally undeniable. It is innate to man's creation. By God's design, the influence of a father is necessary in a family. FMI believes that the lack of a godly father's influence in the lives of children is the number one threat to the stability of the United States. We need godly men to spiritually lead their families through prayer and example. Our hats are off to the men who seek God's influence and wisdom in leading their families down a path of righteousness. Happy Father's Day, men of God!

Great Dads

Men across America are waking up - getting excited about their role as husbands and dads. There is a great deal of talk about family values. All this is wonderful. However, little is being done to give men the practical training they need in order to be the fathers they would like to be. They receive training for everything else, yet for one of their most
important responsibilities - the lifelong job of being a dad - they get no training at all.

Effective training is available and easy to schedule! The churches in Florida are finding Great Dads to be an effective seminar in motivating and training fathers to be godly husbands and fathers. The Great Dads seminar is the only equipping men's seminar in America today that leads to six weeks of follow-up small groups and is also a catalytic event for those who attend. It focuses on “The 6 Basics of Being a Great Dad,” presenting helpful, practical examples. It is scripturally based throughout and emphasizes the centrality of prayer and forgiveness. Florida Men of Integrity believe that every church in Florida should host a Great Dads seminar.

Delivering a powerful lesson at our May 20th Monthly Men's Rally, while sharing the power and authority of a praying husband, Rev. Loader challenged the men to use our God given authority, rebuking the enemy and securing our homes and family's daily under the protection of God. Promise Keepers promotional DVD's, posters and materials, have been distributed to more than 20 churches in our area. The area men of FMI have been busy booking hotels, arranging transportation, and encouraging registration for the upcoming PK Conference in Orlando, July 28-29. The men of South Central Florida are gearing up to invade Orlando and to "Take Our Life To The Limit" where the adventure begins!
