the unwillingness of Christian fellowships to embrace each other because of their doctrinal differences, both based on Biblical truth. Truth and unity have come to be viewed by many as antithetical – you can align with one or the other, but not with both. FMI believes Scripture teaches that this is a false dichotomy, and that the Word of God commands us, and the love of God compels us, to pursue both.

For He Himself is our peace, Who has made the two one and has destroyed the barrier, the dividing wall of hostility… (Eph. 2:14). We need each other!
Our witness to the world needs to be one of perfect harmony with no dissensions or factions or division among us, but one in which we as Christians are perfectly united in our common understanding, opinions, and judgments. After all, we are of one Spirit! We should be one – perfectly united, so that the world may know, and clearly see, that You, Father, sent Jesus for all of us. It is not about us! What we can do together is better than what we can do alone for The Kingdom! To God be the glory!

Testimonies from the Jacksonville Iron Sharpens Iron Conference - February 21, 2009

In November of 2008, God birthed in my heart the desire to start an inspirational photography ministry. A mentor encouraged me to attend the Iron Sharpens Iron Conference in Jacksonville as an exhibitor.

As it turned out the inspirational photography was used as the vehicle to get me to Jacksonville so God could reveal my true calling in life.

The awesome thing about God is we never know where, when or how he will reveal himself to us. Iron Sharpens Iron, Jacksonville, Florida, will forever be remembered as the place where God changed my life.

This is my third ISI. Reggie really struck home when he talked about crippled hand. Pull it out show the world that I too am flawed. Men need to see that all men are human and yes flawed. “Choose Life”

During Joe’s talk, I found my self writing on my hand 24/9. This helped me remember how I should live my life, one day at a time, minute by minute. The second half of the note was the “9”. Go play the back nine. Every golfer knows that no matter what happened on the front side, the back side awaits; start fresh and play the back side.

ISI is like a pep rally with a steak dinner. Get it? Excitement is good, but it must be accompanied by substance. You guys did a great job. I was fortunate to attend!

ISI has always been a way for me to get equipped and use this as a launching pad for my walk and my ministry to other men. God only knows my future but ISI has helped me move instead of waiting on the answers, it allows me to search them out.
