Lehigh Valley Men of Faith, PA.
Men of Faith Network welcomes Dave Poissant as area director in Eastern Pennsylvania. Dave is retired from law enforcement in Massachusetts and has been involved in prison ministry the last several years. Dave can be contacted at 508-450-0699 or by e-mail at lightoflifeministries@verizon.net.

Dave recently gave three Great Dads seminars for 220 men at Fort Dix Federal Prison and two weeks ago took 66 men to Promise Keepers in Baltimore. A follow-up program for churches that went on the trip is in the works. A quarterly breakfast in the Lehigh Valley will be rolled out this fall.

Chicago Men of Faith
Ed Rivera is currently taking 22 men from six churches through the Top Gun Basic Training discipleship program. He plans to put the program in these same seven churches in 2007.

Chicago Men of Faith will be hosting leadership training on September 22-23, 2006. “Discipling Men's Hearts” will be presented by Man in the Mirror. For details, go to www.maninthemirror.org/ltc.

New York Men of Faith
Alex Santiago is looking for men willing to partner with NYMOF for a fall conference for Hispanic men. Carlos Duran, Spanish liaison with Promise Keepers, is working with Alex. For details contact NYMOF at nymenoffaith@msn.com.

I am very grateful to Man in the Mirror because of the massive impact it had on me personally and the men at our church. I had the opportunity to begin a ministry to the men of First Baptist Church of Atlanta. We enlisted 10 guys from the church to help with the new endeavor. In May 2003, I learned of a training event for men's ministry being offered at Woodstock First Baptist Church put on by Man in the Mirror. I planned to attend and invite the new leadership team. Our ministry has been "ON" since that weekend. It was the defining moment in our men's ministry.

Man in the Mirror Helping PK Attendees Stay Unleashed

Man in the Mirror has partnered with Promise Keepers to support their 2006 Unleashed conferences. First, we helped develop a follow-up study for the conferences, similar to the Life Plans we use in our own seminars. Man in the Mirror will provide a FREE copy of the study Unleashing Your Heart to every participant at a 2006 PK conference. Secondly, we are working with PK to provide Power Up! Leadership Training: Plugging Men into Your Church in ten cities prior to the Unleashed conferences this year. This event trains leaders to capture the momentum of the conference and use it to connect men into the various disciple-making ministries in their local church.
