Spring has sprung! A great time to start initiating service projects within your men’s ministries and get the church softball teams cranked up. We have a list below of upcoming events. For those of you in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic, several training opportunities are coming your way. Take a look at the list below. For Your Women: Something That Lasts Longer Than a Flower

The Mission Mother’s Day Book Giveaway is now in its fourth year of reaching women in churches around the country. MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) has joined the program as a partner this year. You Need to Know: What Three Things Do Women Want Their Pastors to Know?

Check out the latest book to support men’s discipleship: What Women Wish Pastors Knew (Zondervan, 2007). Among the many messages Denise George heard from women, three were the loudest: First, women are hurting deeply and they need help. Second, they are starving spiritually. Are You a Macho Man? Group Advocates Macho Christianity

According to ABC News, “There is a new trend in religion: macho Christianity — a movement started by men who say traditional church services are just too feminine and sissy. Nationwide less than four in 10 churchgoers are men, and the men in this movement say it's because men need a religious outlet that's more masculine.” Read the rest of the article here.
