– United Men of Faith
United Men of Faith (UMOF) has worked with men's leaders throughout Pennsylvania , and is now partnering with leaders in New Jersey and New York as well. Bob Keiderling, executive director for UMOF, offers regional training, like Man in the Mirror's Discipling Men's Hearts, as well as men's rallies with nationally known speakers. Bob also equips leaders to disciple men in their own churches.

Bob recently shared great news: God is working overtime. At a fathering seminar in prison, 3 men came to Christ, 12 recommitted their lives, and the fathers of 80 children made a commitment to be the dad God has called them to be. Two days later, we spoke to men in a Syracuse prison where there were 3 more new Christians, 16 recommitments and 100 kids now have a recommitted dad.

Children and Sleep
Recent studies suggest that children are not getting enough sleep and that parents are not aware how much sleep their children need. On average children sleep more than 10% less than optimal amounts, causing problems such as lack of focus and attention deficit.

Since my wife and I first learned that we were expecting over 3 years ago, I've gone through several different books on how to be a great dad. Unfortunately, most of the books just freaked me out and got me all panicked that my kid would end up the school bully or worse!

2004 International Men's Leadership Summit
This three-day summit in Garden Grove, CA on May 13-15, 2004 will give you new tools and understanding to develop your edge, to know what you have been designed for in life, to know what you are called to do. Men who answer the call will leave this event and will return home to cast vision, inspire, motivate, team-build, problem-solve, and develop others.

Good news from Nova Scotia
We began our men's ministry with earnest in 2002. We heard about a ministry in the United States that focused on ministry to men. We quickly contacted Man in the Mirror and ordered some of their material. Included in that material was a Men's Ministry Action Plan for beginning a ministry to men. What a blessing that was. We formed a ministry team of about 6 men and went to work.

We call our ministry "Journeymen" Our mission statement: "To build relationships with men to encourage them practically and bring them closer to Christ through fellowship mentoring and discipling."

We had a Promise Keepers seminar in the fall of 2003 on sexual purity and God moved through the group of men that weekend. We have a group of men doing a book study on Pat's book The Man in the Mirror. We are scheduling breakfasts where men are inviting their neighbors and we are planning a men's retreat as well.

Your ministry has been a tremendous blessing to us and we plan on having one of your seminars in the not to distant future.
