We Need Your Help!
Do you have men in your church who are active in short-term missions? We want to share your ideas and strategies with other leaders so God can use them to motivate their men to serve Christ around the world.
Send an email to daviddelk@maninthemirror.org that briefly answers these questions:
- How often do you take trips?
- Where do you go?
- How long are the trips?
- Approximately how many men participate?
- Are the trips led by laymen or staff?
- Do you associate with any mission agencies outside your church? (If yes, please include the organization’s name, website, a person’s name and contact information)
You’ve done the work to figure it out – let us share that with other leaders to help them disciple more men!

NTC Leaders Conference Call Series Continues
How do we reach every man in our church? How can the church disciple men whose lives are already too busy? Why does it seem like the same small group of guys comes to everything?
Having an All-Inclusive Men’s Ministry answers these questions and more, and that will be topic of our next Leaders Conference Call from the National Training Center. Hear from Pat Morley, David Delk and Brett Clemmer as they explain the concept of being “all-inclusive” and offer some practical tips and ideas you can implement right away. There is no charge for the call. You just have to pay normal long distance charges to call in.
Date: Tuesday, February 8, 2005
Time: 3:00 – 4:00 p.m. (EST)
Location: Your telephone
To sign up for the call, click here. We’ll send you the call-in number and passcode.
Protecting Your Family from the Internet
Do you have internet access in your home? If you do, you need to be proactive steps to protect yourself and your family from inappropriate content. Keep the computer in a common area (so it can’t be behind closed doors), get filtering software or use a filtered ISP, and set limits for your children (and yourself) to keep the family from becoming isolated from one another.
Use the Internet as a tool to help you fulfill God’s calling on the life of your family – don’t let it be perverted into an idol that subtly undermines your family.

How Americans View Jesus Christ?
It seems that with each Christmas comes more debate and discussion concerning what is politically correct about the celebration of Christ's birth. Interestingly, a NEWSWEEK survery revealed that 67% of Americans "believe that the entire story of Christmas...is historically accurate."
In addition, they discovered that over 90% of Americans "believe Jesus Christ actually lived and 82% believe Jesus Christ was God or the Son of God."
