Pat Morley Going Back to Montana!

Two years ago, Pat spoke at the Governor’s Prayer Breakfast in Helena, Montana, at the invitation of then-governor Judy Martz. This year, Pat is going back to speak at Prayer Breakfasts in Billings and Great Falls. These events normally pull in about 1300 attendees between them, but they are praying for double that number this year.

Writes Harrison Fagg, organizer of these events: “I can't tell you how much it means to me to have you and others back there helping and backing us in prayer. I certainly hope and am praying that 2006 opens the door in a big way for Man in the Mirror in Montana. “

“If You Build It They Will Come...” Uh, Maybe Not

“A new report based on its annual tracking survey by The Barna Group reveals that one-third of the adult population (34%) has not attended any type of church service or activity, other than a special event such as a funeral or wedding, during the past six months.” (www.barna.org)

What does this mean to men’s ministry leaders? How will you reach men who never even show up? Putting up a men’s ministry information table at the next wedding or funeral your church holds might not be such a good idea.
