Reaching Every Man: Montana Men Changed by Men’s Ministry

Small Group in action: Stan Ortel, with Men Mentoring Men, discusses problems men face daily using The Man in the Mirror. His church went from having no “men’s church” to having monthly and weekly meeting for men that come together to pray, fellowship, discuss issues men face on a daily basis, and become disciples and mentor other men. |
This is part of an ongoing effort by a group called Montana Man in the Mirror. Their goal is to reach every man in Montana with a credible offer of the gospel and the resources to grow. Next up for the Montana MIM’ers? A state-wide ‘barnstorming’ tour in October 2007. our conference (region) of churches talking about the quality of the seminar material and its ability to speak to men's lives. We … were blown away by the response! This year, we've already hosted a "Seven Seasons of a Man's Life" event in eastern North Carolina and have committed to do it again in western North Carolina this fall. In the "U-Teach-It" format, we are using seven different speakers and were blown away by the response in Henderson, North Carolina this spring! We broke denominational and racial barriers with 135 men attending from 20 churches and 10 denominations!
