“Work willingly at whatever you do, as though you were working for the Lord rather than for people. Remember that the Lord will give you an inheritance as your reward, and that the Master you are serving is Christ. —Colossians 3:23-24 Culture Check: Are You a Work-A-Holic? According to USA Today, more men (60%) than women (40%) find it hard not to work on their days off. What about you? Innovative Ideas: North Dakota Men of Faith Conference & PK About four years ago, Ron Tangen and a group of men from Bismarck, North Dakota dropped PK a line asking if there was a way they could come to Bismarck. PK obliged by supporting a web cast of a live PK conference. The following year the group now known as North Dakota Men of Faith added a live worship team. October 12 & 13 will mark their fourth year of doing this conference. Other cities in North and South Dakota have asked Ron about doing it in their area. This year a workshop will be made available for leaders who want help the men they bring to take the next right step in their spiritual journey. To find out more, call Ron Tangen at 701-222-1484 or rtangen@bepc.com. Pam (pām)
