2007 Yields 1000 Commitments!
Several of you have hosted events in the past and I've appreciated greatly the opportunity to serve with you.
In 2007, over 1,000 men made a first time or recommitment to Christ through attending a Man in the Mirror men's event. In addition to that, almost 2,000 men joined a 6-week follow up study and began a journey of discipleship.
Now is the time to plan for 2008 events.
Any 2008 event scheduled or ordered by December 14th will receive a $100 discount on a You Teach It, and a $200 discount on a Faculty Led Seminar. Click here to see all of the events.

A "Recovering" Materialist
My philosophy toward money changed over several years as I read the Scriptures. One day, when my spirit had been fortified, I plunged into a commitment to give up materialism altogether. I prayed, "Give me neither poverty nor riches."
Today I am a "recovering" materialist. (See Proverbs 27:20.) Possessions are not sin, but an obsession for possessions is. If you continue to live for money, you are like a gambler vacationing in Las Vegas or an alcoholic working in a brewery. It is time to become a "recovering" materialist.

A Different Way to Think About Integrity
George Burns once said, "The most important thing in acting is honesty. If you can fake that you've got it made."
Most observers agree we are in the middle of an integrity crisis. I personally know dishonesty is rampant among the clerks and cashiers where I get my Starbucks and movie tickets- because they often try to give me a price break as though, together, we are "sticking it to the man."
