Dads that Make A Difference
 |
A seminar for men who want to make a difference in the lives of their children.
Dads That Make a Difference is a dynamic mens event that will give your men the encouragement and practical insights they need to succeed as Christian fathers. This fun, interactive event will engage men both intellectually and emotionally with Biblical truth and challenge them to apply it to their daily life. At the event, your men will spend significant time interacting with other men in small groups, as well as time individually for self-examination and prayer.
Your gifted facilitator will be a member of the Man in the Mirror faculty. His presentations and stories will help your men gain greater understanding and ownership of this material.

The event is built around four main topics:
|
- Providing Protection Find the ways to protect a child that go beyond providing physical safety. Biblically, an atmosphere of protection allows children to feel the safety and security necessary to trust their parents, and, ultimately God.
- Establishing Identity Learn how to shape your childs future by accepting, affirming, acknowledging and appreciating their uniqueness. Discover how you can encourage your child to find their worth through a relationship with Jesus Christ. This is a necessary ingredient in helping children learn to stand for Christ and against the world.
- Building Confidence Give your children the tools to become productive, contributing members of the Kingdom. Help them learn the limits of self-effort and go from a desire to be independent from God to a faithful and confident dependence on the goodness of Christ.

Each man will also receive an additional four week study guide to review and look deeper into the issues of succeeding as a father. This study can be done individually, or in a group setting with 4-6 other dads who want to make a difference.
