Partners in Training Leaders
Man in the Mirror partners with local church leaders and regional ministries to bring leadership training to cities all around the country. These courses are conducted by the faculty of the Leadership Training Center at Man in the Mirror, and rely on a local hosting organization for a venue, as well as promotion and on-site registration and event suppor.

What do you need to host a Leadership Training Center Event?
Built on a foundation of passion for encouraging, training and equipping leaders to reach men in the church, you will need the following components for hosting a successful event:
- Event Coordinator with community influence, passion, and organizational strengths
- Host Team – roles include coordinators for Promotions, Hospitality, Program, Resources, Prayer, Registration, and Pastoral
- Venue that can seat up to 150 men at round tables 2/3 full
- Personal Contacts and Ministry Relationships
- The Man in the Mirror LTC team
- Initial deposit/investment for which Host receives tickets
- Support and interest from other churches in the area
- A minimum attendance of 80 men for 8-hour events and 60 men for 2 ½ day events is needed to cover costs
How will the event be promoted?
Man in the Mirror and the local host committee will work together to promote the event to churches and men's leaders in the area. The local Host Church Team should post information on local church websites, establish relationships with any local Christian radio stations, and work through their network of local contacts to promote the event. The most effective method of promotion will be to follow up with personal invitations to other leaders.
The Leadership Training Center will conduct a calling campaign to area churches, send four email invitations, an event-specific postcard and fax. Recorded PSAs will be provided for promoting to local radio stations. For 2 ½ day events, in addition to the efforts listed, two automated voicemails will be delivered to churches in the evening, and a letter will be sent to area pastors from Patrick Morley. How long does the event last?
The 8-hour course includes approximately eight hours of teaching, discussion and break time. The event can be held in a single day (usually Saturday) with a lunch break, or over a Friday evening and Saturday morning.
The 2 ½ day course includes approximately 20 hours of training and is typically held Thursday night, all day Friday, and Saturday through the early afternoon. Events held in Orlando, Florida are typically held Thursday afternoon as
opposed to night.
