This event will help men explore true significance, based on what the Bible says about significance--not the culture. They will be challenged to examine their role as spiritual leader of their family, love and honor their wife, and prioritize their time wisely. Most importantly, they'll be encouraged to pursue a deeper relationship with God. And ALL men will be given the opportunity to join a six-week follow-up group BEFORE leave the event. Follow-up materials are included with the event.

This is a six-hour event that is usually presented on Friday night and Saturday morning or all day Saturday. The event combines music (provided by the church), faculty presentations, and small group discussions that minister to the men and encourage them to join the six-week groups that meet after the event.
Optional Session for Wives: This event contains a session on marriage. Some churches have invited wives to attend for this portion and "listen in" with their husbands on part of the session. Then the wives break into a separate session with just the women, taught by a woman at the church (notes and handouts provided). This is a basis for further discussion between husbands and wives and can also increase overall men's attendance.
(This event is the recommended kick-off event for Challenge 1: Manhood of the Journey to Biblical Manhood.)
