On April 29-30, Man in the Mirror presented our third No Man Left Behind Essentials training of the year at First Baptist Church of Spartanburg, SC. The event was co-sponsored by MIM Area Director Chris Rondeau, of the Western Upstate Coalition for Men's Discipleship.
Man in the Mirror's National Field Director and Leadership Training Center faculty Jeff "Coach K" Kisiah was greatly encouraged by his time with the men. The 45 leaders in attendance represented more than 6000 men across their congregations back home, spanning 5 states, and included the State Director for the South Carolina Baptist Convention.
Here's what one pastor had to say about what he learned at the event:
"I came here this weekend looking for a strategy...and I received one that I'm excited about implementing. But more importantly, I have now fully realized I don't know my players, and need to reflect on that takeaway as well!" - Pastor Fred, Calvary Church

We live in a culture that relentlessly pushes us to think about ourselves. Look out for #1. What do you need to be happy? How about this new car, new relationship, new hobby, new gun, new pleasure? With so many people and so much stuff all aimed at our happiness, why are so many men so miserable? Perhaps it's because we were made for more.
Join David Delk as we look at why orienting our lives around serving others actually brings a deep and lasting joy. We'll give you practical takeaways that can make a difference right away. It's going to be a great day!
The Big Idea: You need to have a deep, intentional, spiritual impact in one person's life. (You'll love it and God gets the glory.)
